What I need from you

We need a Perry Venue Facebook page that I can access for event and promotional posting. Once we have that, I’d also like to include the Perry Venue page link with promotions wherever appropriate so we can start building the venue’s own following rather than relying solely on the other BlueJay page.

We’ll post the promotion on both pages so we can take advantage of the existing BlueJay audience while also building a dedicated following for Perry Venue. That makes getting the Perry Venue page set up now especially important, since this campaign gives us an immediate reason to start directing people there.

Proposed rollout

Tonight: Announce Ballroom Blitz and the free October 3 party.

Tomorrow: Post the teaser reminding everyone to keep watching the Perry Venue feed.

Following day: Drop the official giveaway post without announcing the time in advance. The first eligible comment wins.

For the giveaway drop, do you have a particular time frame you prefer? I’m considering posting it later at night rather than during normal daytime hours. That keeps the “watch the feed” part genuine and also gives us a chance to see whether it gets picked up overnight before people start their morning routines.

Once I have Facebook access, I can handle the posting and rollout directly so you don’t have to stop what you’re doing every time I have a promotion ready to go. 🙂
